Zion at Sunrise

Zion

In February I had the opportunity to visit Southern Utah. One of the days that I was there my dad I woke up before the sunrise and drove out to Zion National Park. It was such a beautiful morning and I will never forget what it was like to watch the sun kiss the tops of the red rock.

If you haven't been to Zion before I definitely recommend going. We did the short Canyon Overlook trail and it was stunning. If you go early in the morning on a week day, you'll avoid a lot of the crowds.

Photos in the Road

Over the years photos on an empty road have become iconic. Since my dad and I arrived in Zion so early, we were practically the only ones on this road. Here are a few of my favorite photos that we took on the empty road. Thanks dad for helping me take these!

It was also super cold while we were there. With the temperature hovering around 32 degrees fahrenheit, I was frozen!

The Moon

The moon was so big and bright while we were in Zion! That top photo is definitely one of my favorites.
